The basil scent is genuinely strong, like I just tore up a handful of leaves — not that fake green smell. It cut through the grease on my stovetop without much scrubbing, and my hands didn't feel stripped after.
The baking soda in this actually cuts through the grease on my stove hood without me scrubbing forever. I keep it by the sink and the basil smell makes kitchen cleanup almost pleasant.
The basil scent actually smells like fresh herbs rather than something artificial, which I wasn't expecting. The baking soda in it cut through the grease on my kitchen backsplash without much scrubbing at all.
