I was skeptical about swapping dryer sheets for wool balls, but these actually fluff up my bedding nicely and cut drying time a bit. The fragrance oil is strong, so I only use a few drops per load and my whole closet smells like a walk in the woods.
I was skeptical about wool balls actually softening towels, but these did the job and cut my drying time noticeably. The fir oil smells like a real Christmas tree rather than that fake pine cleaner scent, and a few drops on one ball was plenty for a whole load.
Tossed three of these in with a load of towels and the fir scent lingered for days afterward, not just until the dryer stopped. The wool balls actually cut my drying time too, and nothing came out static-clingy.
